PIKE Successful in Spring Sports

Pi Kappa Alpha finished the school year strong with successful performances on the athletic fields. The Bowling team, consisting of brothers George O'Keefe, Jaz Singh, Danny Longmire, and Chris Gutierrez successfully defended their title and took home Pike's second straight championship. The Sports Trivia team, consisting of brothers John Ernenputsch, Brandon Grant, Ryan Driscoll, Russell Curry and George O'Keefe also tasted victory with a closely contested championship match that came down to a tiebreaker question. The Softball team also had a successful season with a third place finish in the All University Tournament.

The story of the quarter though, was the Pike Floor Hockey team. Prior to this year Pike had never excelled in Floor Hockey, but against all expectations, the team made it to the championship game after narrowly making it into the playoffs. After a well played Spring quarter the athletes of Pi Kappa Alpha are eagerly anticipating the coming intramural season.
